Kentucky IPL staff:

Executive Director, Tim Darst

Tim Darst recently gave up his career in accounting and dedicated his life to care for God's creation. An organic gardener and bicycle and bus commuter, he is a founding member of the Company of St. Angela, a contemplative congregation of the faithful associated with the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville. Winner of the YMCA Joyce Skees Award, one of the
128 Leadership Louisville Connectors, finalist for the 2010 Acorn Award. He is married to Angela Lincoln, and has two grown daughters. Email Tim

Communications and Outreach Director, Rosetta Fackler

Rosetta Fackler is an Associate member of the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville and member of the Environmental Concerns Committee of St. Williams Catholic Church. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography with environmental emphasis and a Master of Science degree (interdisciplinary) in Environmental Policy, Planning and Education from the University of Louisville. Rosetta is also past president of the Kentucky Association for Environmental Education and an active member of the North American Association for Environmental Education with a special interest in getting children back into the great outdoors. Her home is ruled by a very active black lab/golden retriever mix named Cubby and a soft-as-silk cat named Tasha, nicknamed Little Nipper for her propensity to nip at ankles. She has just completed the Master Gardener program through the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service and is looking forward to improving her organic gardening skills. She has a no-mow lawn which is delightful in any season. Email Rosetta
