Food and Faith Forum at the Bluegrass Food Security Summit
The Interfaith Alliance of the Bluegrass invites all faith community leadership and laypersons to join us on March 19 for a discussion and exploration of Food and Faith as part of the Bluegrass Food Security Summit. The Food and Faith Forum will provide an opportunity for us to discuss community food security issues and to provide entry points for people of faith to work together to make important connections between our food systems, our lifestyle, social justice, environmental stewardship, respect and care for the created order. Kentucky IPL helped develop House Bill 408 as a member of the Kentucky Sustainable Energy Alliance. The bill will create a Renewable and Efficiency Portfolio Standard (REPS) and feed-in tariffs to accelerate the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency in Kentucky.
